“myplumber.ie called to the house almost immediately after i had emailed for a detailed discussion with my wife and i on what they saw as our heating needs and to cut down on cost’s. we had a 30 year old dual boiler which was extremely inefficient and costing us a fortune on oil. that was the first to go, replaced with a high- efficiency Grant Gas Condenser Boiler, and a programmable control with three separate zones and linked thermostats for living and bedroom areas. a large totally – insulated hot water cylinder (replacing an old cooper one in the hot press) ensured constant hot water pumped under pressure to showers etc. A modern en-suite and shower enclosure – without a pipe to be seen! – completed the work. the old boiler and bathroom fitting etc were removed from the site when the work was finished. There was a very high standard of workmanship, reliability and cleanliness through out from the plumbing engineers and electricians in installing the new system which is a huge improvement and considerably easier to manage. i expect to see the annual bill for heating oil (circa 2,000.00 in 2008!) at least halved if not more. For anyone with doubts about the efficiency of there heating system i would definitely recommend seeking the professional advise of myplumber.ie”
